  • High Seas Expedition

    It's Summer!
Meaning time for VBS(Vacation Bible School)

This year, my church used the the high seas, ocean expedition theme.

During the week we shared 5 Bible points.

Day 1: God's Word is true
Day 2: God's Word is comforting
Day 3: God's Word is surprising
    Day 4: God's Word is life-changing
Day 5: God's Word is for everyone

Stated in Proverbs 22:6 Train Or Start a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.

It was a blessing seeing all the kids come and have fun learning about the Lord. The kids even brought their friends and evangelized and shared the love of God.
They give me hope for the future.

What do you think of VBS?
What tips do you have about training a child in they way they should go.

  • That girl

You know her. As a matter of fact, she may be your best friend.

But when some new girl tries to come between the two of you, that's when the claws come out. She hates on any girl you talk too, as if she were your psycho-crazy ex-boyfriend. She does anything in her power to prevent you from hanging out with anyone else, because she wants you to herself.

I have had my fair share of experiences with these insecure girls in the past. Even in elementary school.

    For example:
In 4th grade I became good friends with a girl named Kaye, but her former best friend Shelly became jealous of our relationship. She would spread nasty rumors about me and wanted to turn all the girls in our class against me.

And the worse part is that she had never mumbled a word to me.

Why is it that girls can hate girls they don't even know?
Is feeling threatened a good enough excuse to do such things?

I've noticed that this only happens among females but correct me if I'm wrong.

Have you ever experienced girls like Shelly?
Or have you ever been in Shelly's shoes?
